Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00-17:00 or 08:00-18:00 (depending on business needs)
Premier Work Support are excited to be recruiting a Goods-In Operative for our prestigious client based outside Gatwick Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced and well-established logistics operation with great company benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Checking incoming stock against purchase orders
- Accurate receipting of purchase orders (attention to detail is essential)
- Putting stock away and rotating stock correctly
- Working with racking systems (previous experience required)
- Using handheld scanners to process and manage stock (experience desirable; training provided)
- Operating forklift trucks to put stock away and load vehicles for deliveries
- Consolidating stock efficiently
- Carrying out general warehouse duties and maintaining a clean, safe working environment in line with health & safety requirements
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment
- Proven Goods-In experience with strong stock consolidation skills
- Knowledge and experience of racking systems
- Experience using warehouse systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (advantageous but not essential)
- Valid forklift licences for: Counterbalance, Bendi, Multi-directional (All licences are essential)
