An exciting opportunity has arisen within a long established company based in Medway Towns for a Multi-skilled Operator/ Team Leader to join their manufacturing team on a permanent basis. You will be managing a diverse department, overseeing the manufacture, inspection, and assembly of wax patterns within the casting department, producing components. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines team management, problem-solving, and practical production support. You will play a key role in ensuring the department consistently delivers exceptional standards of safety, quality, productivity, and performance. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of 15+ employees operating across a 24-hour manufacturing environment.
- Ensure production requirements are achieved while maintaining quality standards and delivery schedules.
- Promote a positive culture focused on safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the Process Improvement Team to drive efficiency and productivity enhancements.
- Manage pressure injection tooling requirements and ensure production readiness.
- Support day-to-day production activities including injection, extrusion, inspection and assembly.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members.
- Lead daily meetings, driving performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Continuous Improvement.
