A great opportunity has arisen within a long established company based in Medway Towns for an HSQE Manager to join their team. This is a stand-alone role where you will take full ownership of all health, safety, quality and environmental aspects associated with the business. You will have previous experience of working independently in a similar role, ideally gained within a manufacturing environment. You will be the key point of contact for all HSQE matters across the business, providing advice and guidance on health, safety, quality and environment. You will monitor and research new health and safety legislation and best practice, giving guidance on implementation and compliance. Your duties include: Auditing production and monitoring unsafe behaviour or breaches in regulations Inspecting production equipment and processes to ensure they are safe Assessing risks and potential safety hazards across operations Creating and implementing health and safety training plans Preparing health and safety strategies and developing internal policies Managing accident records, investigating accidents, near misses and unsafe conditions and implementing preventative measures Maintaining ISO14001, ISO9001 and HSE documentation for internal and external audits Producing Method Statements and Risk Assessments for site installations Maintaining RIDDOR records and KPI s Managing the Health
