A great opportunity has arisen with a long established manufacturing company in Medway Towns for a CNC Machine Operative to join their machining department on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be working 48 hours per week:
- Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 16:30
- Friday: 06:00 - 14:30
Pay Rate: £13.74 per hour. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their skills within a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for processing castings while maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Production Duties
- Process castings within the machining department, including:
- CNC Turning
- CNC Milling
- Manual Turning
- Manual Milling
- Drilling operations
- Process parts in accordance with engineering drawings, techniques, and work instructions.
- Inspect machined parts to ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct first-off checks on other operators' work.
- Carry out manual handling duties.
- Data Recording
- Complete touch-screen bookings using the bespoke Aventa system.
- Accurately complete job cards and log work carried out.
