We are currently recruiting for Grounds Maintenance Operatives to work as part of a fantastic, friendly team based in the Medway Towns. These positions are temporary, however there may be opportunities for permanent employment for the right candidates.
The main duties of the role will be working in a small team to assist in the maintenance of green spaces throughout the Medway Towns. This includes weeding, strimming, planting and grass cutting for which training can be given, along with other adhoc duties such as clearance of rubbish and emptying of bins.
Ideally candidates will hold a full UK driving licence, with no disqualifications and a maximum of 3 points for insurance purposes, however, our client is happy to consider candidates that have driving tests booked but have not yet passed their test. Due to the site location, own transport would be advantageous, however not essential.
Previous experience gained in a similar role would be beneficial, however, not essential as full training is provided.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 7:00am to 4:00pm and Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with overtime at weekends at an enhanced rate. Salaries are reviewed after 3 months and on appointment.
