Premier Work Support have fantastic and exciting opportunities for a permanent Warehouse Operative for one of our long standing clients based in Basildon.
As the Warehouse Operative you will be providing and maintaining a high level of service and accuracy in the movement of goods in line with company requirements specifically within groupage.
Duties will include:
- Using and operating counterbalance forklift to move goods in and around the warehouse whilst adhering to company health and safety policies.
- To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
- To keep work area clean and tidy maintaining high levels of health and safety.
- To achieve the targets and job standards set out by team leaders.
- Heavy lifting as handballing will also be required.
- To perform any reasonable request from team leaders.
Skills and experience required:
- Working knowledge of groupage.
- Forklift Licence - Counterbalance.
- Any previous forklift experience.
- Attention to detail.
- Reasonably high standard of numeracy and literacy.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm, 40 hours per week.
