Are you an experienced forklift truck driver looking to expand your skills, take on new responsibilities, and develop your career within a progressive and forward-thinking company?


A newly created role has arisen within a long established manufacturing and logistics company for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver/ Administrator to join their busy facility in Medway Towns on a full-time basis. The role is at first on a temporary basis and a permanent opportunity exists for the successful candidate after a qualifying period.


Hours of Work are 07.30-16.30, Monday-Friday.


This is a varied and rewarding role, combining Forklift driving with general office admin. You will be a point of contact for customers, hauliers, suppliers, and colleagues and you will be assisting in warehousing/ production, administration, purchasing, and stock control.


Key Responsibilities



  • Assisting in the processing and management of customer orders accurately. ensuring all details and customer requirements are recorded correctly.

  • Verifying incoming load documentation and updating production progress.

  • Maintaining accurate job files and production and quality records.

  • Ensure goods are correctly labelled and recorded.

  • Assisting in maintaining accurate stock records and supporting regular stock checks.

  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries when needed.

  • Work closely with the Site Manager, production team and warehouse to ensure efficient workflow.

  • Support site compliance by maintaining accurate records for audits and company procedures.


About You



  • Previous experience in an administrative role is advantageous

  • Valid B1 Counterbalance Forklift license with previous experience gained in an industrial environment

  • Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office and business systems.

  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
