A well established and highly successful engineering company based in Medway Towns is looking to recruit a Factory Labourer initially on a temporary basis. This is a manual role with training provided. There is a permanent opportunity for the right candidate after short qualifying period.
You will be working Monday to Thursday, 06:00 to 16:30, 40 hours per week, £12.86 per hour.
Overtime is also available at an enhanced rate.
Duties Include
Preparing materials and moulds for casting
Pouring molten aluminium into ceramic moulds
Moving moulds through the casting process
Cleaning moulds after casting
Manual handling
Completing basic production records via touch screen systems
Ideal Candidate
Manufacturing or production experience preferred (not essential)
Physically fit as lifting will be involved and comfortable with manual work
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
