Premier Work Support are working with a specialist shipping company based in Basildon who are looking to recruit a permanent Cross Trade Co-ordinator. As the Cross Trade Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for controlling and monitoring customer shipments originating in the Far East and shipping to various destinations around the world.
Duties include:
- Data input of customer shipments
- Processing documents received from their agents
- Invoicing and daily liaison with our US office and the customers themselves
- Devising loading plans for their customer’s cargo
This is a great opportunity for someone to develop with the aim of progressing to a more senior level with additional responsibilities and challenges.
Key attributes required include:
- Minimum 3 years experience in Freight Forwarding (Sea Freight)
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and other MS programs
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in Sales / Customer Service beneficial but not essential
Hours are: Monday to Friday 9am - 5.15pm
