An excellent opportunity to join the team of an ever growing successful client in Tottenham as a permanent Shunter. The hours are Monday to Friday, 6pm to 3am.
Key Duties:
- Unloading inbound stock
- Unloading lorries upon return
- Using an FLT to load stock
- Using safe manual handling techniques when loading and unloading vehicles
- Holding health and safety at the forefront of all procedures
- Shunting vehicles in the yard
- Assisting the fleet team with taking vehicles to a maintainer's location and subsequent collection
- Reporting of any obvious vehicle defects to the fleet team
- Picking stock for loading
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Class 2 Licence
- Experience using FLT / FLT Licence
- Experience shunting and/or yard management
- Experience working within a warehouse
- Customer Service
- Manual Handling
