Job Description
Our client, an Essex based specialist engineering company, has an urgent requirement for a permanent Electric Motor Winder to join their specialist team.\\n\\nReporting to the works manager, you will be responsible for disassembling, repairing, rewinding, testing and reassembling electric motors, generators, transformers, rotors, armatures, coils and other electro-mechanical components.\\n\\nIdeally you will have come from a motor rewinding or repair background and have a technical diploma or associate degree in electrical/mechanical fields.\\n\\nDuties will include:\\n\\nTesting windings for clearance, ground faults, insulation resistance\\nPerforming final testing including dielectric, core loss, phase balance, meg-ohm and rotational direction\\nAssembly and finish\\nData and quality control\\nGeneral maintenance supportHours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.\\n\\nBenefits include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Private medical after probationary period, pension\\n\\nIf you are a passionate, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in precision craftsmanship then apply to take your next step towards a fulfilling career
