Light Assembly Operatives in City of London

Overview

A long established engineering company based in Medway Towns is looking for an Assembly Operative to join their assembly team on a permanent basis. The role involves assembling runner systems, following set instructions and safety procedures.

You will be working 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday and Friday 6.00am to 2.30pm.

The hourly rate is £12.86 plus overtime at an enhanced rate.

Responsibilities

• Assemble runner systems to work instructions
• Carry out manual handling tasks
• Operate basic equipment such as a band saw (training provided)
• Complete production bookings and job cards
• Follow all health and safety requirements, including PPE and COSHH

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
• Ability to follow written instructions and procedures
• Good attention to detail
• Comfortable with manual work
• Basic IT skills for touch screen systems
• A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
• Training will be provided where required
