An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and driven permanent Business Development Manager with a background in the catering, food service, or food manufacturing industry to join a highly successful and long-established food manufacturing business based in Medway Towns. Supplying a wide range of Blue‑Chip clients across the UK, this company has built an outstanding reputation for quality and service. They are now seeking a motivated individual to help drive growth by developing both existing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

The Role

  • Researching and identifying new opportunities within the food industry market
  • Generating and developing new business prospects
  • Preparing proposals and presenting solutions to prospective and existing clients
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Working closely with internal teams to support business growth initiatives
  • Maintaining accurate records of leads, client meetings, and sales pipeline activity
  • Managing your own diary and customer visits across the UK

About You

  • Previous business development experience within catering, food service, or food manufacturing
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Good IT skills and confidence using business systems
  • A proactive, self‑motivated approach
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • The ability to work independently and use initiative

Working Hours
