Our prestigious client in Basildon is looking to recruit a permanent part time Book Keeper. This role will be 2 days a week (Tuesdays & Thursdays) working 4 hours a day. Duties include: Creating and entering all invoices onto accounting system Sending invoices to clients via email End of month closure Entering of stock onto system Year-end stock and stock valuation Process supplier and wage payments on Bankline Produce cash flow reports when needed Credit control Accounts payable & Receivables including receipt of pro-formas' Reconciling bank accounts Credit card and expenses reconciliation HMRC payments VAT returns Filing of invoices Monitor & chase overdue payments and if necessary, activate debt collection agency Work closely with the Accountant on end of year accounts Prepare and enter the Depreciation, prepayment and Accrual journals Petty cash and Directors expenses8 hour week, split over two days (Tuesdays & Thursdays) 5 days holiday plus additional days over Christmas. £14.00/hour
