We are currently recruiting for an experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Driver in the Medway Towns to join a busy warehouse operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable individual who thrives in a busy environment and is looking for ongoing work.
Requirements
- Valid, nationally accredited Forklift Licence (in date)
- Ideally hold both Reach and Counterbalance licences
- Candidates with Counterbalance licence only will also be considered
- Previous forklift driving experience
- Good level of numeracy and literacy
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Reach and/or Counterbalance forklifts
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Moving stock within a warehouse environment
- Supporting general warehouse duties as required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
- Completing relevant documentation and paperwork
Shift Pattern
- 12-hour shifts
- Mixture of day and night shifts
- Rotating shift pattern (details provided upon application)
Additional Information
This is a temporary position, however there may be an opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.
