Premier Windscreens Edinburgh is a family-run automotive glazing company providing windscreen replacement, repairs and ADAS services across Edinburgh, Fife, Perthshire, Dundee and the Scottish Borders. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Experienced Windscreen Technician to join our team. This is a mobile role carrying out work for private customers, fleet operators, trade customers and insurance clients. We are looking for someone who can work independently, deliver excellent customer service and take pride in their workmanship.

Duties

  • Windscreen replacement
  • Windscreen repair
  • Side and rear glass replacement
  • Van and commercial vehicle glazing
  • Vehicle inspections
  • Completion of digital job sheets
  • ADAS calibration (training provided where required)
  • Mobile fitting at customer and business locations

Essential Requirements

  • Previous automotive glazing / windscreen fitting experience
  • Experience replacing bonded windscreens
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable Skills

  • ADAS calibration experience
  • Experience with commercial vehicles and HGVs
  • Insurance network experience
  • IMI, GQA or other automotive glazing qualifications

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • Participation in a 1 in 2 Saturday rota
  • Stable year-round workload

Please note: Applicants must have previous automotive glazing experience. Applications from candidates without windscreen fitting experience are unlikely to be considered.
