What you’ll do
- Build relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs and recommending suitable holidays.
- Research, quote and book package holidays, tailor‑made itineraries, cruises, flights, accommodation and short breaks.
- Use tour operator and reservation systems to manage enquiries and bookings accurately.
- Handle payments, travel documentation, amendments and cancellations.
- Work with suppliers to secure competitive prices and added value.
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service in person, by telephone and by email.
- Keep your destination knowledge and understanding of travel products up to date.
- Support colleagues and contribute to the smooth running of a busy retail branch.
What you’ll bring
- Recent experience selling holidays within a retail travel agency, including preparing quotations and managing bookings.
- Confidence using travel reservation systems and working with tour operators and suppliers.
- Good worldwide geographical knowledge and an understanding of different holiday products.
- Strong customer service skills and an ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Clear communication, careful attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple enquiries while maintaining a high standard of customer care.
- A collaborative approach and a willingness to support a small team.
