Senior Engineer

Derby

£50k – £57k+ generous benefits (neg dep exp)

Our established and highly successful Derby based niche sector client offers a range of highest quality services that encompass Project Management and Implementation, Consultancy and Software Development to blue chip clients worldwide, and as a result of continued success and an ongoing planned programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit experienced and dedicated Senior Engineer professionals to complement the existing Industrial Automation team.

With technical responsibility for all aspects of projects including adherence to requirements, design, development and testing of control/integrated systems, as Senior Engineer you will undertake the day-to-day co-ordination and technical management of the team of project engineers.

Highly skilled in programming a variety of PLCs using Ladder Logic, Function block or Statement List methods and proficient in configuring SCADA software packages and User Interface mimic design, you will use high-level programming languages ranging from C, C++, C#, VB and VBA and perform IP network design and configuration as well as the design and test of ELV electrical panels.

Other responsibilities will include performing the configuration of CCTV, PA and telephone systems over an IP network, performing FAT and site commissioning with formal client witnessing and working collaboratively and proactively with clients in order to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction at all times.

To be considered for these varied and challenging Senior Engineer roles it is envisaged that you will have attained a degree/HND in control, electrical, electronic or software engineering and demonstrate at least 5 years' previous successful experience in delivering control/integrated systems using some of the skills listed above.

As the role potentially encompasses a wide range of skills and technology, extensive mentoring and training is available for suitably qualified and experienced individuals providing a great opportunity to gain a wealth of skills and experience from technical to project delivery.
