Our client is a market leader in the Security Systems Integration sector, with almost 50 years' experience of delivering security solutions for high-security, public space, transport, and infrastructure projects throughout the UK and Ireland. They are now seeking to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer (ideally based in or around the Stoke-on-Trent area) to complement their established and successful team.
The role involves dealing with daily fault requests, PPM duties, and out of hours reactive duties for large scale, high end integrated systems from a broad client base, ensuring the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing a reliable, courteous, efficient, and effective service whilst maintaining a positive image of the company to the customer.
- Maintaining high standards of dress and customer communications.
- Updating the helpdesk with the call status after successful completion of each service.
- Providing day to day planned preventative and reactive maintenance and repair of complex Analogue and Digital CCTV Systems on a high security site across the Manchester, Stoke on Trent and Leeds region.
- Working with associated functional and managed control rooms and multi-site Access Control Systems and Perimeter Detection Systems.
To be considered for this opportunity, the successful candidate will demonstrate sound knowledge of CCTV, IT and PID Systems on varying scales, as well as Access Control systems with Site Mustering and DVR & NVR systems. Knowledge or experience of PID's, Galaxy Alarms, Cortech GUI, CEM, C-Cure and Gallagher Access Control systems, Synergy, Milestone, Video Matrix Systems, IP Systems and Networks and Raid Recording will prove distinctly advantageous.
