The predicted salary is between 46200 - 55200 £ per year.
As a result of continued success and an ongoing planned program of strategic expansion, the company is seeking to recruit an articulate, dynamic and highly self-motivated and experienced Contracts Manager to complement their established and successful project team.
The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining constant communication with site managers, staff and Clients in order to ensure proper operations of the company and consistency in the delivery of services, necessitating the maintenance, management and development of quality assurance protocols where required. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that operational and deliverable activities remain on time and within budget.
- Overseeing all Client facing deliverables on behalf of the Company.
- Expanding the Client portfolio by identifying opportunities for service provision in the industry.
- Initiating conversations with industry providers regarding additional solutions to obtain future business.
- Understanding the requirements of a potential Principal Contractor project and developing initial budgetary costing documents.
- Managing the project from a ‘Principal Contractor Project Manager’ perspective, including full budgetary management of the project.
- Running weekly Client facing update meetings focusing on matters relating to H&S and the Principal Contractor role.
- Maintaining an overall site activity H&S coordination role that balances the needs of all contractors and the Client.
- Developing CDM legal documentation such as the Construction Phase H&S Plan, TMP’s, Fire Safety Plans, etc.
- “Protecting” the company in matters relating to budgetary and service delivery.
- Managing company suppliers and labour contracts throughout a project.
- Collating all necessary H&S File Information / O&M Manuals from Contractors involved in the project.
Additionally, there may be instances where the successful candidate could be required to act as an additional resource to a sister division of the business relevant to Construction H&S.
It is envisaged that the successful candidate will ideally be qualified to NEBOSH Certificate Level 3 (General or Construction), be SMSTS trained and a Member of the Associate of Project Safety (APS) whilst demonstrating at least 3 years of proven successful experience gained within the construction industry and solid commercial acumen including strong skills in budget development and oversight and proficiency in conflict management, project management and business negotiation processes.
