HR Specialist ** Interim Fixed term to March 2028 **

Our Coleshill based client has been established for almost 40 years and are recognised market leaders in the design and development, manufacture and distribution of an impressive portfolio of electrical solutions for supply throughout the world, and are looking to recruit an experienced HR Specialist to provide maternity cover on a Fixed term contract until March 2028 and complement their professional Human Resources team.
Reporting to the HR & Business Change Manager, the HR Specialist will provide a comprehensive, commercially focused and professional HR service across the UK and Ireland, supporting the delivery of the people strategy through expert employee relations advice, organisational change initiatives, job evaluation activities and HR project delivery. The role will support all stages of the employee lifecycle and act as a trusted advisor to managers, ensuring people-related decisions support both operational effectiveness and organisational growth. Core responsibilities will include:
Job Evaluation & Organisation Design - Leading job evaluation activities across the business, ensuring consistency, fairness and alignment with organisational requirements whilst supporting managers in the development and review of job descriptions, person specifications and organisational structures, conducting role benchmarking and providing recommendations regarding grading, responsibilities and role design.
Employee Relations & Case Management - Acting as the lead HR contact for complex employee relations matters across the UK and Ireland, independently managing any disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance, absence management, redundancy and flexible working cases from start to finish and conducting and supporting complex investigations, producing detailed reports, recommendations and outcome documentation whilst providing commercially focused and legally compliant advice to managers on all aspects of employment law and people management.
