Quality Engineer Leeds to £39k + generous benefits Our client is part of a group that has been established for almost two hundred years and employs more than 5,500 staff globally, specialising in a range of bespoke heavier engineering and materials handling activities for a diverse range of applications. Due to continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced Quality Engineer to be based out of their prestigious Leeds Office environment and complement their successful quality control team. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, the successful Quality Engineer candidate will undertake a range of duties and responsibilities that will include (but not be limited to): Expediting and reviewing sub-contractor/supplier quality procedures Reviewing MQP’s (Manufacturing Quality Plan) Expedition and inspection of manufactured and supplied items. Compilation of internal CCM MQP for machining, assembly, fabrication and painting etc. to meet Project Quality Requirements and monitoring MQP activities Expedition and review of associated verification documentation e.g. certificates, reports etc. Compilation of formal Manufacturing Lifetime Quality Records, to pre-determined requirements, for customer review and acceptance.
