The Finance Administrator supports the whole team with daily administrative and accounting tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable working with numbers in a fast-paced environment.

Your future role
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Raise and issue invoices; follow up on outstanding payments
- Maintain accurate records and data entry
- Process expense claims, stock control and raise purchase orders
- Prepare and file documents and records
- Support month-end processes under supervision
- Respond to internal and external business-related queries by managing incoming calls, emails, plus incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to support operational delivery
- Support job administration, scheduling and coordination where required, including preparing documents, reports and correspondence
- Liaise with local Water Companies
- Meet and greet visitors
Required skills
- Previous experience in finance or accounts administration role
- Accounting or finance studies (preferred but not essential)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general computer literacy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with team members, clients and suppliers
- Ability to follow processes and instructions accurately
