The Company: Premier Tech is an ambitious, fast growing international group with six divisions across 28 countries, committed to innovation, teamwork and developing its people. Premier Tech Water & Environment (PTWE) is expanding rapidly in the UK through organic growth and recent acquisitions, particularly within its national services operations. To support this growth, the UK team is introducing a new HR Business Partner role to help embed strong people practices across the UK and Ireland.
The Opportunity: This is a hands on, operational HR Business Partner position supporting managers across service, installation and tankering teams. You will provide day to day HR guidance, support recruitment and onboarding, help manage ER matters, and ensure consistent processes and documentation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operational HR Support: provide day to day HR advice to managers across the business.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and induction processes aligned with Premier Tech practices.
- Help managers with performance, absence, conduct and capability matters, ensuring consistent process and documentation.
- Embedding HR Processes & Systems: Coordinate the annual HR cycle (performance reviews, compensation, engagement activities).
- Support the UK rollout and adoption of Dayforce HRIS, including training and new ways of working.
- Maintain accurate HR data and contribute to people metrics and reporting.
- Supporting integration & change: assist in embedding new colleagues from recent acquisitions, including policies, T&Cs and ways of working.
- Help align processes and communications across the expanding UK team to ensure a smooth employee experience.
- Ensure HR activities comply with UK employment law (and ROI, with support).
- Work closely with the UK General Manager on all people related matters.
- Connect with the global OD team to share information and adopt best practices.
- Build strong relationships with managers and team members across all UK sites.
Location: Office based, Camberley, Surrey (with some UK travel and occasional international travel)
Reports to: UK General Manager, with functional support from Divisional HR Director (Canada)
The Person Requirements: This is a brand new role, ideal for an experienced HR Advisor or generalist who wants to develop their HRBP capability while still staying operational. We’re looking for someone with solid HR generalist experience, ideally in an operational or service led environment. You should be confident supporting managers, comfortable working in a standalone role, and able to balance admin with project activity. Experience with ER matters, HR systems (including HRIS rollout), and exposure to TUPE or post acquisition integration would be beneficial. You’ll succeed if you are practical, approachable, solutions focused, able to work at pace, and aligned with Premier Tech’s values and collaborative culture.
