A Primary SEN Teaching Assistant is needed for a long term role working with KS2 pupils in a friendly and supportive SEN school in the North Tyneside area. This role begins after the Easter break and will run until the end of July. We have positions in this school with children with needs ranging from ASD, MLD, behavioural issues and PMLD/complex needs. For this role, it is essential that you have experience of working with pupils with SEND.
Ideally, you will hold a level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or above, but other qualifications such as a degree in Psychology or Education Studies are also acceptable. Please note that the rate of pay is dependent on the level of experience and qualifications achieved.
In addition, you must:
- Provide two referees we can contact
- Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
