An outstanding secondary school in the Sunderland area is seeking a PE Teacher to cover PE classes starting in September 2025. This role will be full time and ongoing until at least October half term 2025.

The ideal PE Teacher candidate would have the following requirements:

  • Have a passion teaching PE
  • Have excellent subject knowledge of teaching PE sessions to KS3 and 4
  • Be able to organise themselves
  • Be able to engage with pupils in a proactive way
  • To apply for this PE Teacher position with Premier Teachers you must hold QTS or QTLS. We are keen to hear from both experienced teachers as well as ECTs.

    In addition, you must:

    β€’ Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one

    Please note that the rate of pay will be dependent on where you are on the National Teacher Pay scales and the level of experience that you have to date.
