A Teaching and Learning support Senior Practitioner is needed for a position for a lovely SEMH Academy we work with in the Newcastle area. The role begins as soon as possible and will be an ongoing role. This school has children with needs ranging from ASD, MLD, behavioural issues and PMLD.
Experience in supporting Post 16 pupils with any of the above needs would be an advantage but is not essential - a willingness to learn and engage with SEN children is the most important quality we are looking for.
It is essential that you hold a NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, or equivalent in Childcare and Education. You will have or be prepared to obtain a DBS check and we will need to carry out our vetting checks in a face to face interview at our Sunderland office. In addition, we will need to take up at least two references.
