A Year 5 Primary Teacher is required for a good primary school in the Newcastle area bordering North Tyneside. You will deliver full class Primary lessons to a Year 5 class and also small group work with a nurture class in the afternoons. This is a full-time Primary Teacher role that will begin as soon as possible and last for at least two terms to July 2026. The school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

The ideal candidate would:

  • Have good classroom management skills
  • Have a passion for Primary teaching
  • Have excellent subject knowledge
  • Be able to organise themselves
  • Be able to plan effective, engaging Primary lessons
  • Have experience of working with SEND pupils and ideally running interventions

We are keen to hear from both experienced Primary teachers or ECTs.

To apply for a Year 5 Teacher position with Premier Teachers you must hold QTS or QTLS.

In addition, you must:

  • Provide two referees we can contact
  • Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one

Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
