A Construction Studies Tutor is required for a good Alternative school in the Newcastle area. You will deliver Construction Studies to Post 16 pupils aged 16 to 19 years who have SEMH needs. This is a full-time role to start as soon as possible. The school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers. The successful candidate will:
- Have some tutoring experience (up to Level 2)
- Have worked within the construction sector
- Preferably have some experience in plastering, bricklaying, DT & painting
- Have good classroom management skills
- Have a passion for teaching Construction Studies
- Have excellent subject knowledge
- Be able to organise themselves
- Be able to plan effective, engaging Construction Studies lessons
We are keen to hear from both experienced teachers or ECTs.

Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
