A Humanities Teacher is required for a secondary school in the South Shields area. You will deliver Humanities to Key Stages 3 and 4 pupils. This full-time role will be to start as soon as possible and be ongoing. This secondary school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

The ideal Humanities Teacher candidate would:

  • Have a passion for teaching Humanities
  • Have excellent subject knowledge
  • Be able to organise themselves
  • Be able to engage with children in a proactive way

We are keen to hear from both experienced Humanities Teachers or ECTs. To apply for this position, you must hold QTS or QTLS.

In addition, you must:

  • Provide two referees we can contact
  • Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one

Please note that the rate of pay will be dependent on where you are on the National Teacher Payscales and the level of experience that you have to date.
