Would you like to kickstart your career in education? We are currently recruiting graduates who want to begin their career in education through Teaching Assistant roles at a secondary school in Newcastle. This is a paid internship supporting students across KS3 and KS4, with a focus on Arts, in partnership with a local school.

As part of the Graduate Teaching Assistant Internship, you will receive accredited training and gain valuable work experience as a member of staff in training. The role starts in September and lasts for one academic year.

You must be:

  • Available to train and work full time
  • Able to commute daily to the school
  • Interested in working with Special Needs students
  • Prepared to obtain an Enhanced DBS if you do not already have one
  • Willing to complete all required training, including after-school sessions

Additionally, you must:

  • Have a DBS form or be willing to obtain one
