A SEMH Teaching Assistant is required for a secondary SEMH school in the Sunderland area. This is a full-time TA role delivering support to children who are excluded from mainstream school and assisting them in class. The school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.
The ideal candidate would:
- Have good classroom management skills
- Have a passion for teaching children with SEN and SEMH
- Be able to organise themselves
- Be able to deliver English and Maths lessons to Primary level at least
In addition, you must:
- Provide two referees we can contact
- Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
