A Maths Tutor is required for an Alternative Provision school within the Newcastle area. In this role, you will be working one to one with a pupil who has an EHCP. You will join a welcoming team and the role will start ASAP and will be full time and ongoing long term.
The ideal candidate will have a real wish to work with underprivileged pupils who have social, emotional and mental health issues. You must hold maths qualifications/specialism and have a background working with SEMH or a willingness to work in SEMH schools.

Class sizes are small to encourage close relationships and a personal learning approach. The school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.
