A Teacher of Design Technology is required for a lovely secondary school in the Sunderlandarea which we are working with as a company. You will deliver Design Technology to Key Stages 3 and 4 pupils. This full time role starting in September and for at least 4 months and potentially for one year for the right candidate. This secondary school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

The ideal Design Technology Teacher candidate would:

  • Have a passion teaching Design Technology
  • Have excellent subject knowledge
  • Be able to organise themselves
  • Be able to engage with children in a proactive way
  • We are keen to hear from both experienced Design Technology Teachers or ECTs.

    To apply for this Design Technology Teacher position with Premier Teachers you must hold QTS or QTLS.

    In addition, you must:

    • Provide two referees we can contact

    • Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one

    Please note that the rate of pay will be dependent on where you are on the National Teacher Pay scales and the level of experience that you have to date.
