A Teacher of Design Technology with Food Technology is required for a secondary school in the Sunderland area. You will deliver Design Technology or Food Technology to Key Stages 3 and 4 pupils. This full-time role will start as soon as possible and be ongoing. This secondary school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

The ideal Design Technology Teacher candidate would:

  • Have a passion for teaching Design Technology and Food Technology
  • Have excellent subject knowledge
  • Possess a Level 2 Food and Hygiene certificate
  • Be able to organise themselves
  • Be able to engage with children in a proactive way

We are keen to hear from both experienced Design Technology Teachers or ECTs.

To apply for this Design Technology Teacher position with Premier Teachers you must hold QTS or QTLS.

In addition, you must:

  • Provide two referees we can contact
  • Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one

Please note that the rate of pay will be dependent on where you are on the National Teacher Payscales and the level of experience that you have to date.
