A Teaching and Learning Support Senior Practitioner is needed for a position at a lovely SEMH Academy in the Newcastle area. The role begins as soon as possible and will be ongoing. The school supports children with needs ranging from ASD, MLD, behavioural issues and PMLD.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for pupils with special educational needs.
- A willingness to learn and engage with SEN children is the most important quality.
Qualifications:
- Essential: NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, or equivalent in Childcare and Education.
- Prepared to obtain or hold a DBS check.
