Are you physically fit, reliable and happy to get stuck in as part of a small team? We're recruiting a Waste Clearance Operative / Van Driver for a growing business based in Bournemouth. You'll work alongside a colleague in a two-person team, travelling to different locations across the surrounding area, helping customers clear unwanted items and ensuring every job is completed safely and efficiently. With regular Monday-to-Friday hours and full training provided, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work and wants a permanent position with plenty of variety. What's on offer? * £28,500 annual salary * Permanent, full-time employment * Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm * Bournemouth-based, travelling to customer locations * Varied working days * Working as part of a two-person team * Full training provided * Active, hands-on work What will you be doing? * Sharing driving responsibilities in a 3.5-tonne Luton van * Visiting residential and commercial premises to carry out clearances * Safely lifting, loading and transporting unwanted items and materials * Working alongside your colleague to complete scheduled jobs * Using a mobile app to receive and coordinate assignments * Providing a professional and helpful service to customers * Following safe working practices and keeping the vehicle tidy What are we looking for? * A full UK driving licence * Comfortable carrying out regular lifting and physical work * Reliable, punctual and hardworking * A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team * Comfortable using a smartphone or mobile app * Good customer service skills Previous experience in removals, deliveries, warehouse operations, waste clearance or similar hands-on roles would be an advantage, but isn't essential. Full training will be provided, so attitude and reliability are more important than previous industry experience. Interested?
