A popular Dining Pub serving award winning dishes created from all fresh seasonal produce including lots of Fish and Game when in season. Food standards are high, the Head Chef has solid 2 and 3 Rosette experience with plans to push for a Bib Gourmand. This is a busy kitchen so there isn’t any time for pretty pictures on plates or over technical dishes; the food served is cleverly planned and created to maximise flavours without being over complicated.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Head Chef assisting with the daily running of the kitchen.
- Help to organise daily prep between the team and cooking during service.
Qualifications:
- Experience of Rosette standard cooking.
- Friendly, talented chef with an organised personality who understands the importance of communicating well and building a team.
Additional requirements:
- Applicants will ideally need to live in the Oakham, Uppingham, Corby, Stamford, or Peterborough area with their own transport.
