Position: Office Based Sales Executive for Laboratory Supplies
You will be working and supported by a dedicated team to actively promote and sell a vast range of competitively priced laboratory equipment, chemicals and consumables. Training and technical assistance will be on hand from our manufacturers. Over the years we have built up a considerable customer base and a big part of your role will be managing and developing relationships with existing customers and informing them about our brands of equipment and consumables. Ability to prospect for new business opportunities will form part of the role.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Third level education in Science or Life Science Sector or related field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Preferable Experience:
- Experience in a Scientific role or Scientific sales.
Key Duties/Deliverables:
- Develop and maintain existing key customer accounts.
- Provide customers with quotations as requested.
- Analyse your territory to find new business as well as acquire new customers.
- Call planning and weekly reporting to Senior Management.
- Create and provide an enjoyable customer experience.
- Forecast and provide market/competitive feedback.
- Deliver on KPIs and meet sales targets.
- Work in a fast-paced working environment.
- Meet deadlines.
- Work as an organised individual with good time management.
- Demonstrate good IT skills, including Excel and Word.
- Work efficiently and accurately.

Job Type: Full Time Maternity Cover with potential to extend the employment term to a permanent position with increased salary.
