The Role
As the main point of contact for our customers, you will provide technical guidance and prepare accurate quotations for spare parts, service work, and machine upgrades. This is a desk‑based role focused on managing enquiries and supporting international customers with technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to technical enquiries and provide support on troubleshooting machine faults, applying a solid understanding of Holroyd machines and their applications.
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for spares, services and upgrades.
- Lead and support a team of field service engineers, offering technical guidance when needed.
- Manage the service schedule and coordinate with customers and internal team for travel arrangements.
- Work closely with engineering, software and production teams on complex technical issues.
- Maintain strong customer relationships by responding promptly to enquiries and providing effective technical support.
Person Specification
- Apprentice trained and time‑served in a mechanical discipline.
- Experienced in the build and application of CNC Milling able to discuss technical matters confidently.
- Understanding of MRP systems (advantageous).
- Previous enquiry or sales support experience.
