Premier Recruitment Solutions is working with a well-known brand within automotive fast fit to recruit an experienced Truck Tyre Technician for their Westbury centre.
Truck Technician – Westbury
Up to £28,000 Basic + Bonus
45 hours per week, Monday – Friday, Alternating Saturdays
Reporting to the Centre Manager (or Assistant Centre Manager as appropriate), the successful candidate will be responsible for tyre fitting and repairs primarily for Truck customers. You will assist with the fitting and removal of tyres to a high standard, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all work on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.
- Operate machinery safely.
- Perform Truck servicing, brakes, suspension components, etc.
- Work in accordance with health & safety regulations at all times.
- Only work on products or services in which you are trained and assessed as competent.
- Follow company procedures at all times.
- Inform customers and management of any additional faults found.
- Perform other duties as reasonably required.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Experience as a Mechanical Technician, Vehicle Technician, or Mechanic.
- Relevant academic or vocational qualifications such as REACT, City & Guilds, IMI, or apprenticeship.
- Full valid driving licence.
