Premier Recruitment Solutions are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Registered Home Manager on behalf of a well-established care provider for their specialist Learning Disability Service based in Great Yarmouth.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and ambitious leader to take ownership of a specialist residential service and work alongside an experienced Operations Team to drive continuous improvement and lead the home back to a Good CQC rating.
The service has a strong person-centred ethos, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live as independently as possible whilst receiving exceptional care and support.
The successful candidate will be committed to delivering outstanding outcomes for the people they support while creating a positive, empowering environment for both residents and staff.
The Role
As the Registered Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day management of the service, ensuring the home operates in line with CQC regulations and consistently delivers safe, effective and person-centred care.
Working closely with the Operations Manager and Head Office support teams, you will lead, motivate and develop your staff team while driving quality improvements and maintaining the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and day-to-day operational management of the service.
- Lead the home through its quality improvement journey with the objective of achieving a Good CQC rating.
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, the Health and Social Care Act, Fundamental Standards and Quality Statements.
- Recruit, mentor, support and develop a high-performing staff team.
- Promote a positive, person-centred culture that empowers people to achieve their goals and maximise their independence.
- Oversee safeguarding, care planning, medication management, audits and quality assurance processes.
- Effectively manage staffing, budgets, occupancy and resources.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, commissioners and external agencies.
- Monitor service performance and implement continuous improvements where required.
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and experienced manager with proven leadership skills and a genuine passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities.
You will have
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Registered Home Manager within learning disability or adult social care services.
- Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, Fundamental Standards and current Quality Statements.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Experience leading teams and driving quality improvements.
- Excellent IT skills and the ability to work across multiple systems.
- A compassionate, hands-on and person-centred management style.
- A full UK driving licence.
- RNLD or RMN qualification with an active NMC PIN is preffered.
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and complex behaviours.
