Available Technician Levels & Salaries:
- Service & Maintenance Technician: £28,600 - £36,950
- Service & Diagnostic Technician: £30,650 - £39,410
- Senior Technician: £32,700 - £41,870
- Master Technician: £36,800 - £46,790
The Role:
As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service through high-quality vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, servicing and repair work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work to manufacturer standards
- Diagnosing and rectifying vehicle faults efficiently
- Completing vehicle health checks and inspections
- Ensuring first-time fixes wherever possible
- Maintaining accurate workshop records
- Working collaboratively within a busy workshop environment
- Delivering high levels of workmanship and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- MOT Licence preferred but not essential
- Own tools
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
