Registered Care Manager - Domiciliary Care Location: Sefton Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday On-call rota required Full UK Driving Licence + Own Vehicle Required An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Care Manager to lead and develop a domiciliary care service in Sefton. This role would suit a confident and passionate care leader with previous domiciliary and extra care experience, who is looking to take ownership of service delivery, team performance, compliance and continued growth. You will be responsible for ensuring the service delivers safe, high-quality and person-centred care, while leading and developing the care and office-based teams. Key Responsibilities Hold CQC registration and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance Take responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the service Lead, motivate and develop care and office-based teams Oversee recruitment, onboarding, retention and staff development Manage staffing rotas to ensure effective and safe service delivery Build strong relationships with service users, families, commissioners and healthcare professionals Monitor service quality through audits, reviews and spot checks Manage complaints, incidents and safeguarding concerns effectively Oversee staff performance and ensure appropriate supervision and development Ensure policies, procedures, health & safety and regulatory requirements are followed Identify opportunities to improve service quality, performance and growth Participate in the on-call rota and provide operational support when required Provide emergency hands-on care in exceptional circumstances Drive a culture of continuous improvement and person-centred care About You We're looking for a strong and experienced care leader who is: Compassionate and genuinely people-focused Confident leading and developing teams Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities A strong communicator with excellent relationship-building skills Commercially aware and results-driven Passionate about delivering high-quality care Confident making decisions and working independently Committed to compliance, quality and continuous improvement Essential Requirements Previous management experience within domiciliary care Experience within both domiciliary and extra care Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards Experience managing recruitment, rotas and staff performance NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care as a minimum Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care, working towards it, or willingness to work towards it Full UK driving licence Access to your own vehicle Business insurance or willingness to obtain this Willingness to participate in an on-call rota and occasional weekend working Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check What's on Offer £35,000-£40,000 salary Mileage allowance for work-related travel Toll, bridge and tunnel costs covered where applicable Blue Light Card reimbursement Employee Assistance Programme Dedicated People & Wellbeing Team Ongoing professional development Career progression opportunities Employee recognition initiatives and awards Supportive senior leadership team Company pension scheme £125 Refer a Friend Scheme Opportunity to join a growing organisation focused on high-quality careIf you're an experienced Registered Care Manager looking for an opportunity to lead a service, develop a strong team and make a genuine difference to the people receiving care, we'd be keen to hear from you.
