Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 OTE (Uncapped) We\’re currently recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join a successful and growing automotive team based in Portsmouth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for vehicle parts and customer service, looking to build a rewarding career within a forward-thinking company. About the Role As a Parts Advisor, you\’ll be a key point of contact for customers and internal departments, ensuring accurate, timely, and professional service. You\’ll be responsible for processing parts orders, managing stock efficiently, and delivering outstanding service both over the counter and via direct distribution. Key Responsibilities: Handle customer enquiries in a prompt and courteous manner, explaining the benefits of products and services. Accurately process orders and ensure parts are correctly identified, located, and dispatched. Liaise with technicians and workshop staff to ensure parts are delivered as needed. Manage stock returns, warranties, and core units efficiently with full documentation. Package and prepare items for safe dispatch to customers and trade clients. Maintain accurate records and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in a parts advisory role within the automotive industry. Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines. High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. Strong interpersonal skills – confident communicator with both internal teams and external customers. Good IT literacy – confident using software systems and web platforms. Relevant technical qualification or proven track record in a parts-based role is highly desirable.Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:30 (1-hour lunch) Saturday (on a rota): 1 in 3, 08:30 – 12:30What\’s in It for You?
