Registered Manager - Domiciliary Care Salary: £40,000 per annum Full-time, Permanent Service delivering approximately 1,400 care hours per week Full UK Driving Licence + Own Vehicle Required An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager to take overall responsibility for the quality, safety, compliance and day-to-day operation of an established domiciliary care service delivering approximately 1,400 care hours per week. This role would suit a confident and compassionate care leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care while developing a strong team and maintaining excellent regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Maintain CQC registration and ensure full compliance with relevant legislation and CQC standards Lead the service through CQC inspections, audits and ongoing quality improvement Oversee care assessments, care plans, risk assessments, safeguarding, medication and incident management Lead, motivate and develop Care Coordinators, Supervisors and Care Workers Oversee recruitment, induction, training, supervision, performance management and staff rotas Ensure safe staffing levels and continuity of care across approximately 1,400 weekly care hours Manage complaints, incidents and safeguarding concerns effectively Build strong relationships with clients, families, commissioners, social workers and healthcare professionals Monitor service performance, budgets, compliance and business development opportunities Drive a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality care Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota About You You will have: Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care as a minimum Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care Leadership/Management, or currently working towards it - essential Proven experience within domiciliary/home care at supervisory or management level Experience preparing for and managing CQC inspections Experience managing care teams, recruitment and rotas Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, risk management and person-centred care Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills A compassionate, professional and values-led approach Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and provide satisfactory references The Role This is primarily an office-based management position, with regular travel to client homes and community locations for care reviews, spot checks and staff supervision. You will be responsible for overseeing a busy service delivering approximately 1,400 care hours per week, ensuring the team has the right structure, support and processes in place to maintain excellent standards of care. Participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota is required.
