  • About the Role:

    • Support the Home Manager with daily operational leadership
    • Lead and mentor the staff team, modelling best practice
    • Support young people aged 8-18 to feel safe, valued and understood
    • Help create and maintain a therapeutic, structured environment
    • Support with rotas, staffing, recording and Ofsted compliance
    • Take responsibility during the Manager's absence
    • Encourage staff development and positive team culture
    • Contribute to continuous improvement and service development

    Requirements:

    • 2 years' experience in a residential children's home (Senior or Deputy)
    • Level 3 or 4 Children & Young People qualification
    • Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding
    • Experience with staffing, rotas and basic budgeting
    • Motivated, proactive and confident in leading a team
    • Full UK Driving Licence
    • Flexible to work long day shifts and sleep-ins
