We are recruiting for an experienced Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of domiciliary care branches across Newcastle and the surrounding areas. The organisation is open to considering a strong Registered Manager who is ready to step into a wider multi-site role and take on increased responsibility.
About the Role
- Provide operational leadership across multiple domiciliary care branches
- Support, coach and develop Registered Managers to achieve strong service performance
- Monitor branch performance against operational, quality and commercial targets
- Ensure services maintain full compliance with CQC regulations
- Conduct regular quality audits, reviews and performance meetings
- Drive continuous improvement across the region
- Support the growth and development of branches, including increasing care hours and client numbers
- Build strong relationships with clients, families, commissioners and key stakeholders
- Analyse performance data and identify areas for improvement
- Support Registered Managers with safeguarding, incidents, complaints and regulatory matters
- Work closely with senior leadership to deliver regional objectives
Requirements
- Previous Area Manager, Regional Manager or Registered Manager experience within domiciliary care
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and adult social care
- Proven leadership and people management experience
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of service growth
- Experience managing teams and driving operational performance
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong quality assurance and compliance knowledge
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification would be advantageous
