We are currently recruiting for our Clients, a Property Maintenance Company, an experienced Contract Supervisor to join a growing and fast‑paced team covering contracts across Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in social housing, repairs, maintenance, or property services who enjoys being out on site, leading teams, and making sure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
This role offers the perfect balance between site supervision and office‑based coordination, making it ideal for someone who is hands‑on, organised, and confident managing both operatives and client expectations.
The Role
- Overseeing day‑to‑day operations across multiple sites, ensuring works are completed on time, safely, and to the required standards.
- Supervising operatives and subcontractors on site.
- Carrying out site visits, inspections, and quality checks.
- Managing daily workloads and coordinating trades.
- Ordering materials and scheduling works.
- Ensuring health & safety and compliance standards are met.
- Liaising with clients and resolving day‑to‑day site issues.
- Monitoring KPIs and driving productivity.
- Completing reports, job packs, timesheets, and trackers.
- Supporting the wider operations team when required.
This is a hybrid role involving both site-based supervision and office/admin responsibilities.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or surveying role.
- Experience within Social Housing / Repairs & Maintenance.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
- A proactive and problem‑solving attitude.
- Experience managing operatives/subcontractors.
