Are you an experienced Contract Manager with a strong electrical background looking to manage a prestigious, high-profile maintenance contract in Central London? We are seeking a commercially astute and technically competent Contract Manager to oversee a flagship manned site in Charing Cross, alongside a portfolio of 25 additional sites across the M25. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation and take ownership of a significant client account, leading a team of 11 engineers and support staff while ensuring exceptional service delivery, compliance, and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all hard FM and building maintenance operations across the contract portfolio.
- Lead and develop a team of 11 engineers and support personnel.
- Ensure delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships.
- Manage contract budgets, forecasts, profitability, and reporting.
- Drive compliance with statutory regulations, Health & Safety requirements, and company procedures.
- Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure service excellence.
- Manage subcontractors and specialist service providers.
- Identify opportunities for contract growth and additional works.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Contract Manager, Senior Contract Manager, Account Manager, Engineering Manager or similar.
- Strong electrical qualifications and technical background.
- Experience managing multi-site maintenance or FM contracts.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with budget and P&L responsibility.
- Experience leading engineering teams and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of compliance, statutory maintenance, and Health & Safety regulations.
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or Maintenance
- City & Guilds Electrical Qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering
- IOSH or NEBOSH
